Wow, just wow. We checked in with Lee who was very nice and helpful. They have a full kitchen with dishwasher and plenty of beds and room for a lot of guests.

With a queen bed in one room and two twin beds in a second bedroom Suite 301 is perfect for a family of four. Some feature decks with panoramic views. We had room 201, which I called the P Diddy Suite because it is massive (3 bedroom, 2 bath) and has a huge deck with nice views of Bisbee and the surrounding mountains.

Remembering that this was a gymnasium turned hotel suites, the check in desk is just that, a desk in a hallway. Now on to the suite review...it had two queen beds, one upstairs in a loft, the other downstairs off the dining area. This suite can be rented by the night, by the week, or by the month. They were finally able to check in. The carpets are filthy and the bed linen smells dirty.
Pleasant service and interesting-yet-accomodating suites for the price of rooms. We look forward to next year when hopefully we come for the Sidepony music festival! The Gym Club is walking distance to Main Street and Brewery Gulch. It accommodates up to 4 guests.

These apartments with private bathrooms and kitchens are now fully furnished for travelers to Bisbee or Southeast Arizona a place to curl up for the night - a home away from home, instead of just a hotel room. My only suggestion to the owner is to replace some of the tired furniture, and address the shower head that sprayed water everywhere. Take a walking tour & you'll discover many well-preserved commercial buildings along downtown streets & Victorian-era houses, built in the boom years, clinging to the cliffs of Tombstone Canyon. Absolutely perfect little getaway. There are more places to choose from in the Bisbee area. It accommodates up to 6 guests. They do not offer daily housekeeping, but as the room was clean, this was not an issue. It also had a dresser, and a night stand on...The hotel is in a great location, however, parking, or the lack there of, is situated across the street in a public parking lot (if there is space), or on the street. We did not even have to drive for the 3 days we were there. The living room has a TV as does the loft bedroom. It's an easy walk uptown or to Brewery Gulch, and unless it's a very busy weekend in Bisbee, there's plenty of parking in the public lot across the street. There are restaurants and bars minutes away (definitely check out the Old Bisbee Brewing Company. Our units are perfect for longer stay because of the fully equipped kitchen in each unit. I must have forgotten my pair of shorts in the room ... Well some magic gnome must have found them and left them for me by my car ;).
The Gym Club Suites, an Historic Bisbee Landmark provides charming comfortable lodging for the night or an extended stay. Cleaning staff were very pleasant and cleaned the bathroom first so my wife could get ready for our reunion dinner while they finished cleaning the rest of the d suite.

After their departure, I stopped by to settle bill and mentioned our frustration in having to jump through hoops trying to get an early check in. We've been to this hotel for five years running now. We found the room to be very charming and would definitely stay here again.

What good fortune that the first place we stopped at in Bisbee was booked, and even better fortune that the owner would call around for us, eventually securing us a room at the Gym Club Suites.
