Pierce and Chloe (April Rose Pengilly) are both struggling through their grief, but separately instead of united as they should be. The pair, feeling guilty, return to their partners the next morning. It seems like they’re back on track, until Chloe decides to visit Fay in Adelaide – alone.
They’ve really gone and done it now. When Nicolette first realised she had a thing for Chloe she had no idea she was married or pregnant. Chloe is left aghast at the revelation, somehow she did not see this coming. In the aftermath, Dipi and Pierce flee from their respective partners and find themselves confiding in each other at Lassiters over their potentially doomed marriages. At the baby shower, he turns to Dipi and they both take comfort in each other's company. But the bigger question…was this kiss just a one off? Will either pick up on the sudden change in their demeanours? Before the realises it the words are out of her mouth – she loves Chloe.
Shane, meanwhile, is close to doing a Tom Daley dive off the wagon before Toadie gets a hold of him and talks some sense in.
