It was my first time to visit the Roslyn Packer Theatre and it was for one of the best Sydney Dance Company production I've seen so far. We’ve been here twice this last month and both times the clever use of microphones has overcome the acoustic problem. There is a Gleebooks pop up, a bar and a restaurant on the ground level. Great sound. Excellent experience. With great sight lines this theatre built in an old warehouse lacked good acoustics. The pop up book store is a great way to pass the time if you get there early or at interval. Originally named as the Sydney Theatre, the theatre was renamed in March 2015 in honour of Roslyn Packer AC, the widow of Kerry Packer.
