There is unfortunately a great deal of religious inference and ‘convenient science fiction’ i.e. The story and characters come to life in this novel. NIGHT’S DAWN TRILOGY – Book #1 . The story is set far out into the future when humanity have conquered the stars, and technology and biology are in many ways at one. If you like Sci-Fi/Space Opera this is a MUSt read. A truly great writer doesn't need all these words, so I think it's time to give up on this rubbish and read some Philip K Dick, or Arthur C Clarke. Beware earlier two volume versions of this title. Its surprises were surprising, it traveled so far further than I was expecting, and I quickly realised that I had to read this whole series right to the end. It turned out to be so very much more. I was hooked from around page 5, and could hardly put it down.

And then delivers. I persevered through this tome to the neutronium alchemist and then for reasons beyond logic on to the naked god; I regret the many hours I spent plodding through. Amazing story and book, would suggest it to any fan of sci-fi. We need more levels to be more precise.
