Tooborac, situated on the Northern Highway before Heathcote, is famous for its historic bluestone Tooborac hotel and adjacent pie shop.The house made pies have been a hit with visitors to the Heathcote wine region as well as travellers making a strategic pit stop but now those famous pies can be a regular affair for Melbournians with the opening of Tooborac Pies and Beer in Carlton. more. It was a great day so we ate in the beer garden... We had a Sat night dinner here. We played pool and ate some really yummy pizza. Pub was busy today due to a car rally stopping in and couldnt fault the service. Would be great sitting outside with that view, but too cold on this evening. I apologise for that. Lovely pub, full of character. Address: 40 High St, Trentham VIC 3458 Suggest you stick to simple dishes on the menu. Came acrosd this quaint little watering hole on the way to Echuca. With the football final coming up I suggest stocking up for a tasty finals lunch.

On a plus the beer is nice but again don’t go there thinking this place is value for money. Their own beers were very good and it came to just over $91 for 3 adult meals and 2 kids meals, which is very reasonable. But there was plenty of bread, eggs, bacon and sausages.
