Incubus skillfully blends nu metal with funk metal and electronica creating an album that stands out among the nu metal albums of the 90s/early 2000s. Every song grabs your attention and holds it with amazing lyrics or awesome guitar riffs. I find albums I like straight away I get bored of. I don’t want to buy another Morning View or Light Grenades. Worldwide, Incubus has sold over 19 million albums.

It is energetic, fast-paced and revolutionary with regards to lyrics, vocals, guitar, and scratch effects. I think of it as the anthem of my life. A second EP, Trust Fall (Side B), was released on April 17th, 2020. If them taking a different direction is a cause for giving a bad review or condemning the band, then I would have done that after Enjoy Incubus.”. It is a predictive song for 2017-present political landscape in US. This album was a “grower”.The album is beautiful in places and frenetic in others (Switchblade). I was going through a rough patch in my life right before the album dropped in April and the lyrics to “State of the Art” really hit me at the time. It took me awhile to get into the album but once i did it was like WOW! Each song is different to the last.
