Looking forward to book two to see whT happens next because the storylines are great and filled with action, lust or friendship. I prefer Riley to Risa even though Risa is probably a much nicer person. I thought a brief walk-on, but while their appearances were brief, there were a few of them!
Jones is a new half breed freshly hatched out of Keri's imagination. Risa sounds like she would be happy with multiple people but only some of them sound like they are interested in her beyond the physical level. Fast-paced, readers will be swept along side of Risa as she struggles to keep hell's gate closed and strop the soul stealer. An Aedh's kiss is capable of melting rock as well as hearts.

Ok so I highly suggest the Riley Jensen series. It is with great enthusiasm that I can say that this is how a spin off should be done. Having enjoyed her series with Riley I was more than eager to read her Dark Angels series starting young Risa, only Risa is all grown up now!
There isn't anyone quite like Risa. Then that leaves Quinn and I'm not so sure how he would fair in all that too, as they are all a package deal. It has taken me over two weeks to get through this book. Not what I expected though the love interest wasn't who I thought it would be and the main character can be almost naive at times. I had plugged the gap prior to it's arrival by reading some of her older books, re-issued once Riley became popular, and it was always easy to see that they were written by a more inexperienced author finding her way. Not exactly good girlfriend material. I found myself bored most of the time. After finishing Riley Jenson's series I immediately looked towards the Dark Angels series. I will start off by saying that I have not read Keri Arthur's original Riley Jenson series. It makes a nice addition to my library. Hmmm I liked this book it was an enjoyable read and will probs read book 2. I'm a huge fan of books, but I was left on the fence with this one. Having only known the young Risa through the Riley series, I wasn't sure how it would feel reading about her as a grownup - in my mind she's still that young little girl, but that didn't last long.
