I really wish I found Travis’ site long ago. Very very bizarre. This site and Stock Gumshoe publications and authors do not offer individual financial, investment, medical or other advice.

Earlier today I covered the changes that were actually made to the portfolio this week, and now I’m starting at the top of that portfolio with insurance stocks, and staying with that theme to also include a few insurance-related stocks that are smaller positions. Ditto many others posted here. Some of the misleading claims that ERSP wanted them to change (which you can read more about in this article) included: They claimed they would, and supposedly did to some extent, but obviously this wasn't enough because they are still using some pretty darn misleading claims in my opinion. And if you were hoping that reviews for Velocity Trader would be better than you thought wrong. His advice on biotech companies and medical matters is brilliant. Since Dr. KSS IS a gastroenterologist and expert on colonoscopy, my prediction is that he is justifiably outraged and not likely to stay with Stock Gumshoe, which is otherwise rinky-dink. To-date he has more than 20 years of options trading under his belt and has supposedly made profits of over $5 million for himself.
Currently he works for InvestingDaily as an analyst/strategist, but used to work for Motley Fool for a brief period of time, as I found out on his LinkedIn profile. This review is the subjective opinion of an Investimonials member and not of Investimonials LLC. Unfortunately, it seems that a lot of subscribers are in the red here. It is still the reader's responsibility to due their due diligence and further research if something might be inaccurate.
However, the pay wasn't good enough for him and he found that investing was a better choice financially.

With Options for Income some people claim to have lost substantial amounts of money following Jim's recommendations, but of course you won't hear about this in the promotional material.

Apparently Velocity Trader used to be called Death Cross Trader, but it was doing so poorly and getting so many bad reviews that this is likely the reason it was renamed.
It is advertised as "conservative options for aggressive income". Travis Johnson is a cool dude who really seems to care about us peons! Prior to getting involved in investing and prior to his degree in business, Jim worked in telecommunications regulatory law for 9 years.
Why does he have to do that, can’t you use the information he provides to find those investments. To those that are complaining that Travis might not provide definitive suggestions. There is even a profile for Jim Fink and InvestingDaily on DirtyScam, where it has an extremely low rating, as expected... One of the big problems with Jim Fink's services is the way in which they are promoted, which can be very misleading.

Stock Gumshoe is an online newsletter that teases teaser pitches for stocks.
They are quick to “rebrand” and suggest they’ve moved on, but past results, in this case, may impact future earnings. Myron Martin blogs about mining investments, but isn't a good writer, and meanwhile attacks Dr. KSS constantly because Myron is preoccupied with nonsense ideas about herbs and vitamins and has axes to grind with science and medicine.

He has saved me a fortune over the years and the newsletter rankings are another piece of Gold here. In short, the way they are promoted basically makes them seem like sure-fire ways to get rich, which as you have seen from the reviews above can be far from the truth. HOWEVER, the bad far outweigh the good here and the good reviews are few and far in-between. When it comes to advisory services like these, the number 1 goal is profitability. Again, we reiterate the importance of customer due diligence and further research. HOWEVER, this isn't as it seems. One credentialed expert that people listen to, who is attacked and disagreed with by two people with no credentials of any kind.
