Cascades waterfalls, 10km river walk and nice campsites There is a river walk you can follow on foot all the way from the first campsite or you can drive the 12km unsealed road to Murrindindi Cascades, which is not to be missed, and a short steep walk from the Cascades carpark.
A word of warning many burnt out trees remain since the fires of 2009 and could be susceptible to falling branches/trunks without warning - we heard one falling tree in the nearby bush yesterday.
It is a short distance walk over the bridge over the creek from the car park. Great walks to The Waterfall & the Cascades & along the Murrindindi River. Some easy walking with some intermediate elements as you near the falls themselves. Kangaroos, Kookaburras aplenty. more. The camp site is well maintained, with some flushing but mostly pit toilets.
