Is there a limit to what is acceptable in books for teens? Their parents even had affairs with each other, leaving Naomi fatherless and both of them resolved to never let a boy come between them again. It's plot is lacking, so much is focused on a straight character wishing a gay character could become straight for them, and there's so little that is relatable about the characters.
This is just an average book, and while there are great moments, readers may get bored before they get there.
