The premise is great. Honestly I have no idea what happened. especially stay away from those self-righteous pricks who claim they will save you bla bla hours, they are just lonely and need someone in their boat with them. There was just nothing there and no chemistry between the two performers to make it interesting or compelling. Don’t read the biased and politicized reviews from overly sensitive people who were probably flipping through Instagram while watching. Jumbled storyline, leaving viewer to try & piece together what writers and directors should have presented. It’s not often one sees a film as vile, ugly, and deeply incompetent as Olivier Megaton’s The Last Days of American Crime. No story, just a bunch of scenes where the stars say random lines to try and sound profound. Graham Bricke (Edgar Ramírez), a career criminal who was never able to hit the big score, teams up with famous gangster progeny Kevin Cash (Michael C. Pitt), and black market hacker Shelby Dupree (Anna Brewster), to commit the heist of the century and the last crime in American history before the signal goes off.

There is nothing unique about him at all as a lead character and the film gives you no reason to care about him or why he is doing what he is doing so it leads you to become bored by him. Netflix, what the hell were you thinking? The idea of putting these images out there at this very moment, and pimping it out as “entertainment” is, frankly, nauseating.
It is a gripping, gritty and unflinching action film with great performances. It's a movie of no originality, but it's not exactly bad at being a well made conventional crime thriller, I mean as conventional as it gets, despite its sci-fi-ish backdrop. See who else started out in horror films. For the love of God, someone push the hair hanging in his face off to the side. It goes from being a crime against an art form to something a little more toxic.
With Neels Clasen, Edgar Ramírez, Tony Caprari, Kate Normington. I think the plot or storyline is pretty decent. A small time delinquent, turned police mechanic for a go fast task force, is forced to defend his innocence when his mentor is killed by dirty cops. The caper is routine, the twists don’t — twist. This film hit Netflix today and I have had the chance to watch The Last Days Of American Crime and here is my review for it. The premise of the film is pretty interesting but it is just executed so poorly, you don't care about the characters and the heist doesn't get the attention that it deserves so you aren't exactly clear why and what they are planning to do. Even without the content of 2020 making the film feel even more unpalatable, Netflix's The Last Days of American Crime is a distractingly dull dystopian thriller with drab (and/or extraneous) characters and a squandered premise. It's one of those sex scenes that you watch and if you've ever actually had sex know that there was no way those clowns were doing it! The movie suffers from horrible acting, long unreal action scenes, a plethora of plot holes and has NOTHING to do with the stopping of the american crime.

Netflix has blessed (or "blessed") us with yet another crime blockbuster, this time one directed by Olivier Megaton ("Transporter 3", "Taken 2", "Colombiana"), who's no stranger to action movies.
In its final hour, The Last Days Of American Crime finally gets down to the business of its big heist, revealing both the propulsive entertainment value the filmmakers have been inexplicably stalling and the thinness of the whole enterprise. But the way it was executed was horrible.

I loved the film. Michael Pitt plays there associate and he is that character who is just insane for being insane's sake, he has family issues but none of it is expanded enough for you to care and you really wonder why Ramirez's character even decides to work with him as it makes no sense.
