I think everyone out on a Sunday night are at this one bar, wow! The decor inside is made up of all kinds of wonderful and interesting pieces that have been collected over the years from the pub scene which gives the Harp bar a uniqueness. For me, it is a more older crowd that drinks there. Live music all night into the wee hours of the morning.

An extension to the Harp Bar on Hill Street Belfast, The New Orpheus is a stunning monument to one of Belfast’s lost architectural treasures, the Orpheus Ballroom, York Street (1932). After walking around on a Sunday night trying to find a pub with some life to it, we found the Harp Bar.

There was a guy playing guitar and playing everything from oasis to I'll tell me ma! Love love love this place!

This place is always hopping and be prepared to stand and wait for a place to sit. I don't see what the fuss is about this bar. Interesting decor to catch your attention.

Plenty of room for large or small crowds!

Class craic in here!! On a bustling Friday night out with the work family we popped along to The Harp Bar around 10pm thinking we'd just pop in for one and move on. Beware it can get jammed packed on Friday Saturday nights!! This place is an integral part of the Cathedral Quarter and is beautiful....especially when it's not heaving as you can really absorb the surroundings. Harp bar is an extremely busy, popular drinking hole. Your trust is our top concern, so businesses can't pay to alter or remove their reviews.

When the live music is on it can turn into a sort of Irish wedding sing-a-long where you don't know anyone- a plus or minus depending on your view. There is LOTS of seating so a great place to visit with friends but it does get very busy at the weekendThere is so much to choose from drink wise so it's a real crowd pleaser in that sense and they have a healthy menu of live music entertainment throughout the weekIf you are visiting Belfast, this bar is a must to add to your list during your stay.

We were a group of 8 and we had to wait a few moments for a few folk to leave before being allowed to enter but we managed to nab a seating area near the live band set up and we didn't leave until after closing.Great mixed crowd, great variety of music to suit all tastes and quick bar service. All agreed we'll return again soon!

It has people from all walks, has a good atmosphere and live musicIt's always busy...I really mean that, especially at the weekends so if you intend to go and actually want a place at the bar never mind a seat, then get there early! It smelled of armpit and stale beer. Went to the Harp last night fir my 60th Bday, Entertainment Staff even the Doormen were brilliant. The Harp Bar is a place to talk and a place to listen.

Live music, pints of Heverlee on tap! The bar itself is beautifully decorated with bronze tables and red velvet chairs and stools which gives it a decadent vibe - if only it was more comfortable to be in. Good mixture of age groups, you will not feel out of place no matter your age.

It has people from all walks, has a good atmosphere and live music.

We spent 3 days of our honeymoon in Belfast staying at the Merchant and we loved Harp Bar. According to one regular, "It stank. The Harp Bar was a public house and live music venue based in Hill Street, central Belfast, Northern Ireland. Claim your business. I went on a Thursday night for pre drinks before heading out.

They don't have the best wine selection so when I visit I tend to stick to G&T or beer. Fantastic live music, great atmosphere, great. The Harp Bar is a proper public house for the discerning drinker, selling crisps, dulse, coffees, independent draught beers and extensive whiskies and at all times “Belfast Craic” with a huge heart.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to enjoy our last night in Belfast! The bar area is vast, the staff is plentiful so it was very easy to get a drink. This is a busy Irish bar close to the main Belfast night clubs.
